A recent survey done by CraftJack has revealed that roofing is considered the most difficult job out of all contractor jobs. The survey asked 1600+ contractors and 600+ consumers to rate which contractor jobs they thought were the most difficult. The results showed that 13% of respondents believe roofing is the hardest job, with demolition in second place at 11% and carpentry in third place at 7%.
It’s no surprise that roofing is considered the toughest contractor job. The work is based on hours of hard physical labor that requires years of experience to master. Whether you’re dragging 50lb bags filled with shingles up the ladder onto a roof or you’re banging a heavy hammer in the beaming sun, the work is no easy task.
